Brooks
Robert Qifton Brooks, Jr., of Boston died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 1978, in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. A retired businessman, he was 66.
Born in Texas, Mr. Brooks was the son of the late R. C. Brooks, Sr. and Mary Miller Brooks. He had lived in the Culpeper and Rappahannock area for many years.
There are no immediate survivors.
Private services were conducted in Fairview Cemetery Thursday.
LeHew
Homer C. LeHew of Front Royal died Sunday, October 1, 1978, in Warren Memorial Hospital. He was 67.
Born in Page County Feb. 25, 1911, he was the son of the late Thomas F. LeHew and Beulah Seekford LeHew. Husband of Rosalie Smith LeHew, who survives, he was a member of the Bentonville Baptist Church.
Mr. LeHew was a charter member of the Front Royal Elks and a member of the Blue Ridge and Rappahannock Hunts. He was the former owner of Cool Harbor Motel in Front Royal.
Surviving with his wife are a son, Larry L. LeHew of Front Royal; two daughters, Linda Smith of Front Royal and Loraine Hultquist of California; two brothers, Melvin LeHew of Front Royal and Arthur LeHew of Ohio; four sisters, Pearl Wiley, Olga Bellucci and Verlon Forbes, all of Florida, and Bessie Jennings of Front Royal; and seven grandchildren.
