Plant A Tree
The VPI Extension Office, in cooperation with the 4-H County Council, is currently taking orders for nursery stock pink and white dogwoods as part of the annual ‘‘plant a tree” project.
This year, the extension office is also sending out forms on which interested citizens may indicate preferences for other varieties of trees. If orders are received for 25 or more of any one kind, extension agent Nancy Secrist will secure the volume price and advise respondents so they can mail a check to , cover the price of the trees. ^ Orders will be delivered to ( the extension office around j the first of April.
