A funeral for Walter

|Richard (Dickie) Reid Jr., of Amissville was held Saturday at Forest Grove Baptist Church, Viewtown, conducted by the Rev. A. C. Walker Jr. Burial was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens near Jeffersonton.

Dickie, 14, son of Walter Richard Reid of Reva and Mrs. Gladys Joan Dodson Reid of Amissville, died January 18, 1979 after a long illness.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Acrey Dodson of Amissville, Mrs. Annie Rebecca Reid of Warrenton and Martin Alvin Reid of Wisconsin; two sisters. Sherry Lynn Reid of Amissville and Heather Dawn Reid of Reva; and a brother, Joseph Bedford Reid of Amissville. Pallbearers were Charles Dodson, Clarence Dodson, Edward Lee Corbin, Jimmy Reid, Warren Reid and Charles Eckardt.
