To the editor:
Often we take for granted the work of those who unceasingly provide quality services to the community. I would like to commend one of your own staff. Daphne Hutchinson, for her capable efforts in reporting local events in this paper.
When her name came up in conversation a few days ago, I was not surprised to hear everyone commend her highly on her attention to detail, her accurateness, her honesty, her enjoyable journalistic style, and her dedication to community betterment.
The Rappahannock News is indeed fortunate to have Daphne on its staff.

Saddened
To the editor:
I am saddened and disappointed that the News has taken the stand that publishing photos of hunters with their killed bobcats is newsworthy.
I totally agree with Dr. Martin and Mr. Jones who have sent in letters of protest.
