Rappahannock County Library now provides a direct line to the Virginia General Assembly through access to a computerized “Bill Status System." The Virginia State Library in Richmond is linked with a computerized system that provides current information about a bill or resolution before the Assembly.
By using the “Bill Status System.” the public can quickly obtain such information as a summary of a bill's content, the names of its patrons and any action taken on the bill: amendment, passage, failure, referral, veto. In addition, the system can also provide titles of existing state statutes that would be affected by the proposed bill Or resolution.
