Agents, Kap uwings ana Nancy Secrist, Mrs. Miriam Harris, Keesey and Martin will evaluate possible sites for the farmers market and negotiate with property owners for the use of their land.

Keesey, Martin, Tom Faust of Amissville, Sidney Mank of Washington and Frank Neal of Castleton were appointed to draw up bylaws, code of conduct and constitution for the organization. ’

Mrs. Pearl Clarke of Amissville will head a committee of Mrs. Barbara Dennis of Amissville and Nancy Secrist to design membership cards, stationary, receipt book and directional signs.

The committees will all report at the organization’s next meeting on Tuesday, February 13, at 7:30 p.m. at the Washington Baptist Church. Anyone interested in helping to establish the. farmers market or who would like to sell home-grown, home-made or home-baked goods at the market is urged to attend.
