AIC Beverly Ilene Reid, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Murphy Reid of Castleton, has been promoted to Senior Airman effective Dec. 1, 1978 and ranked second out of nine others chosen from a competition of 224.
Miss Reid is serving with the U. S. Air Force, stationed at Griffith AFB and was the only female to receive this promotion which would ordinarily have been given in June 1979.
