The Panthers played on their home court Tuesday night against the Central Falcons and the varsity team had their first victory of the season. They played a hard fought game and finally got to show how good they can play as a team. The final score was 63 to 59. Gary Settle was high scorer for Rappahannock with 17 points. Gary Leake was high rebounder with 14 rebounds. We would like to congratulate the team and coach on the victory.
The Junior Varsity Panthers did a good job too, but they came up with a score of Panthers 31 and Falcons 40. The J.V.’s played a hard fought game but they just couldn’t catch the Falcons. High scorer for the Panthers was Jimmy Tomko with 17 points.
