Buckner
Aylette Hawes Buckner Jr., 93, of Sperryville, died Sunday, March 2, 1980, at his home.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the graveside in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper, by the Rev. Ronald Wiley.
Mr. Buckner was born March 3, 1886, in Rappahannock County, the son of the late Aylette Hawes Buckner Sr., and Anna Burt Buckner. He was the widower of Rebecca Elizabeth Kiby Buckner. He was a member of the Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church, Sperryville. Survivors include two sons, Aylette H. Buckner 111 and John S. Buckner, both of Sperryville and a sister, Mrs. Ball Fletcher of Washington.
Jenkins
Funeral services for Lee Hudson Jenkins of Culpeper were conducted Saturday at Geest Funeral Home Chapel, Culpeper, by the Rev. W. W. Martin. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
Mr. Jenkins, 69, a retired Rochester Corporation employee, died Wednesday, February 27, 1980, at his residence. A native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Ackie Dodson Jenkins.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucy May Jenkins; a son, Robert Lee Jenkins of Culpeper; a daughter, Miss Lourena May Jenkins of Culpeper; three brothers, Henry Jenkins of Stanley, Clarence Jenkins of Florida and James Jenkins of Santa Maria, Calif.; and five sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Frazier, Mrs. Lena Atkins and Mrs. Gertie Stanley, all of Culpeper/Mrs. Anna Jenkins of Mamassas and Mrs. Susie Clark of Front Royal.
