Thank You
To the editor:
On behalf of the Washington Volunteer Fire Department I would like to thank you for your newspaper’s support of last week’s benefit basketball game.
The front page article publicizing the coming of the event was most helpful in building enthusiasm and participation, making it a profitable experience for the fire department.
Thank you again.

Energy Coop
To the editor:
The Tri-County Alternate Energy Co-op is now in the process of organizing. It is to be a non-profit or profit shared community owned grassroots corporation dedicated to making alternate energy a reality in this area. It needs your help.
An alternate energy projects seminar is planned for the near future. Tentatively it will be held in the solar heated building of a local resident and free rides in a propane gas powered jeep will be featured.
Right now interested people, workers, resource persons, etc., need to be put in touch with each other and you can help by running an announcement to the effect that anyone interested in any aspect of creative alternate energy use in this area should contact me.
