Lame Excuse
To the editor:
I do not blame School Trustee Eastham for "shouting.” Having a fire exit chained and padlocked during school hours is enough to make *ny parent r shout. The excuses given to him sounded lame tp me. AN INTERESTED CITIZEN
Free Concert
The Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Donald Black, will present a free concert March 9 at 4 p.m. The program will be held in Armstrong Auditorium and the public is invited to attend.
Student conductor Kirk Smith will open with Aaron Copland’s Outdoor Overture. The orchestra will then perform Second Suite for orchestra by Ray Luke.
Following intermission the group will present Beethoven’s well-known Eroica Symphony (Symphony No. 3, Op. 55).
