The Panthers are weakest in sprint events. Coach Spieker expects help from Cristol Porter and Cindy Poe, both freshman, who ran JV track last year. Another upcoming sprinter with a lot of talent is Allison Best.
Despite the Panthers’ disappointment in the failure to complete the track, they still plan to run well. The biggest advantage the team has is that all the girls work hard and well together and they always have a kind word to give their teammates, according to Coach Spieker.
