Interested persons can also review the material at local offices of Soil Conservation Services and Agricutlural Stabilization and Conservation Service. Written, signed comments on the soil conservation program can be sent to the RCA Response Analysis Center, Box 888, Athens, Georgia 30603. Comments must be postmarked no later than March 28, 1980.
The USDA’s proposals for conservation and the provisions for public review and comments are a result of the Soil and Water Resources Conservation Act of 1977.
Lenten Dinners
and Programs
The annual Lenten dinner and program series sponsored by Trinity Episcopal, Washington Baptist and Reynolds Baptist churches and the Rappahannock Methodist Charge will begin next Wednesday for three sessions. A pot luck dinner at 6:15 at Trinity parish hall will be followed by the program. Nursery service is provided.
For the March 12 program, Thomas Rohr of Alexandria will be the speaker. The Rev. Peter Weems of Flint Hill will be the March 19 speaker and leading the program March 26 will be the Rev. Fr. Maurice duCastillon of Washington. The public is invited.
