MARIE ATKINS Rappahannock New* Correspondent Mrs. Joseph Powers and her mother, Mrs. John Hixson, spent last week in Granada Hills, Calif, where they attended funeral services for Mrs. Hixson’s sister, Mrs. Gladys Goodwin. Guests of William B. Snow for the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Caldwell of McLean. Those visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Alfre'd Jenkins during the weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Littleton Fincham and Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Hoffman and Wayne of Culpeper and Mrs. Chester Eliis of Madison.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier Jr. and Michael were Wednesday callers of Holtzman Frazier in Fredericksburg.

Guests during the weekend of the Rev. W. B. Dennis were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dennis of Alexandria, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jenkins and Mrs. Sally Wilder of Hagerstown, Md.

Mrs. Catherine Alford returned home Tuesday after a week's stay in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Gene McGoud and family of Oak Park were Sunday afternoon guests of Mrs. Leora McGoud.

Miss Melanie Thornhill of University of Virginia. Charlottesville, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thornhill.

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville were supper guests Monday of F. R. Frazier and Harold.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duncan were Sunday callers of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Compton in Culpeper.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thornhill and family of Vienna were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cary Thornhill.

Mrs. Vernie Compton remains a patient in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
