Graveside services for Mrs. Mary Bowen Griffith, 70, of Culpeper were held Wednesday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Allen conducting the rites.
Mrs. Griffith died Saturday, January 31, 1981 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of tha late Branch and Mary We«*s Bowen.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Chester Weaver Jr. of Alexandria; six sons, Harry J. Griffith and Robert Peyton Griffith, both of Boston, Mass.; Frank Griffith of Boston, Va.; Raymond Griffith of Rixeyville, Wayne Griffith of Fredericksburg, Daniel Griffith of Culpeper; three sisters,^ Mrs. Gladys Hotchkins and Mrs. Margaret Coates, both of Culpeper, and Mrs. Mamie Tanner of California; 25 grandchildren Aid ten great-grandchildren.
Jenkins
Edward Franklin Jenkins, 68, of Sperryville died Saturday, January 31, 1981 in Sperryville.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at Beahm's Chapel Cemetery in Luray conducted by the Rev. Ray Campbell.
Mr. Jenkins was born January 23, 1913, in Luray, son of the late Melvin Charles and Ruth Geveland Level Jenkins.
Surviving are a brother, Page Level of Luray and a sister, Mrs. Martha Atkins of Sperryville.
