An Art Contest to celebrate Mental Retardation Month (March 1981) is planned by the Rappahannock-Rapidan Mental Retardation Services to cover the five county area of Culpepqr, Fauquier, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock.

Mentally retarded persons of all ages are encouraged to submit any work of art that can be hung, including needlepoint, photos, water colors, crayon, pen-and-ink, oil, or string. All entries must be mounted on cardboard or matted.
