The Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries has ordered to be published, pursuant to Sections 29-125, 29126 and 29-127 of the Code of Virginia, the following proposed changes in Commission regulations applicable statewide. Public hearings on the advisability of adopting, or amending and adopting, each of the proposed changes, or any part thereof, will be held at the Howard Johnson's Midtown Mbtor Lodge, 3207 North Boulevard, Richmond, Virginia, beginning at 9:30 a.m., on February 19 and 20, 1981, at which any interested citizen present shall be heard. If the Commission is satisfied that proposed changes in its regulations, or any parts thereof, are advisable, in the form in which published or as amended as a result of the public hearing, the Commission may adopt each such proposal, acting upon the proposals separately or in block. CHAPTER 23. Fishing Generally.
Amend Regulation R 23-2. Creel limits, to establish a separate limit of eight per day for walleye or yellow pike perch and eight per day for chain pickerel or iackfish statewide, except that ten walleye a day may be taken from South Holston Reservoir below full pool elevation of 1730.
