Because of the redistricting , holdup primary elections have moved up from June 9th , to September 8th. I am also , sending a copy of a hard to , understand bill concerning > the election of Board of > Supervisors to each county administrator that has staggered terms. This bill has , to be passed by the Senate.

A proposal to increase the tuition grants for students .attending private institutions .was approved making the .total $650.00. This is only a >$25.00 increase and the colleges were disappointed as they were trying to raise it to $900.00. Again, too many requests for funds for a myriad of programs.

We squeezed in a meeting yesterday with Charles Walker who gave us a few details on some of the available funds. Mr. Walker is the Secretary of Finance and is quite a remarkable young man with the figures.
