Oneders To
Play At RCHS
On March 4, a line-up of local “superstars" sponsored by the Washington Volunteer Fire Department will once again face the Radio Oneders from WMAL in a benefit basketball game at Rappahannock County High School.
Hoopsters for the Oneders include Washington Redskins Mark Mosely, Monte Coleman. Rich Milot and Dallas Hickman, former New England Patriot Bob Windsor. Donnie Harris from the New York Giants and Terry Metcalf, former St. Louis Cardinal who jumped to the Toronto Arganauts df the Canadian Football League. Montgomery County policeman Larry Pagley and county attorney Phil Armstrong are also on the Oneders' roster along with Jim Gallant and Johnny Holiday from WMAL radio.
Last year, the Radio Oneders raised over $20,000 for various charities and nonprofit organizations. Over a ten year period. Johnny Holliday's team has raised in excess of $375,000.
The WVFD’s All Star lineup will be announced at a later date.
