Then we went down to see the three reconstructed ships that had brought the settlers to America; they were the Susan Constant, Godspeed and the Discovery. We went aboard the Godspeed. They were very small boats. Next we went inside the replica of the fort where we saw the church and the homes the settlers occupied. We left the fort and went to the Pottery, where we saw how to shape and form clay objects.
Next we ventured into two exhibits; one with wax figures of Queen Elizabeth and other settlers. The next exhibit featured sculptures of the U. S. Presidents.
The time had come when our trip came to an end. We boarded the buses and left for the ride home. We all enjoyed the trip very much. (Debbie Pullen)
