Today, Friday, January 23, is our last day. But before we left, we went to the Visitors Center at Old Jamestown where we saw a movie about life in old Jamestown. Then we walked along the James River where the original fort once stood. We saw the old church and a statue of John Smith. The old fort is now covered by water.
We stopped at the Glass House where we were able to see glass objects being blown. It was warm near the hot furnaces.
We came back and boarded the buses and were off for Jamestown Festival Park. First we came to the Long House where the Indians met and some lived.
