Woodward

Ernest S. Woodward, 56, of Luray died Thursday, January 29, 1981 at Page Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday at Bradley Funeral Home in Luray by the Rev. Albeif Kling. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. Woodward was born December 5, 1924 in Rappahannock County, the son of the late William Jackson and Minnie Clatterbuck Woodward.

Surviving are his wife, Marcelean Presgraves Woodward; two daughters, Juanita M. Woodward and Dorothy N. Keyser, both of Luray; seven brothers, Edward Woodward of Norfolk, James Robert Woodward of Germantown, Md., Floyd Woodward of Ocala, Fla., Conrad N. Woodward of Luray, Gifford Woodward of Front Royal, Mackuuell Woodward of Orange and Silas Woodward of Maryland; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Jenkins of Virginia Beach, Mrs. Sarah Davis of West Chester, Pa. and Mrs. Dorothy Frye of Sperryville.
