Cook
Funeral services for Frank Robert Cook of Amissville will be held today, Thursday, at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Morris Baptist Church at Hume. The Rev. George Bailey will conduct the service and burial will be in the Cresthill Cemetery. Mr. Cook, who was 86, died Sunday, Febrj^ry 1, 1981 in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. Bessie Allen, Mrs. Margaret Fowler, Mrs. Velia Porter, Mrs. Renna Summers, all of Washington, D. C.; Mrs. Helen Roberts of Cresthill, Miss Gloria Cook and Mrs. Phillis Gray, both of Harrisburg, Pa.; four sons, James and George Cook of Harrisburg, Robert Lindsey Cook of Leesburg and Horace Cook of Charles Town, W. Va.; 36 grandchildren and 41 greatgrandchildren.
Also surviving are a brother, Henry Cook of Purcellville and a sister, Mrs. Rovella Cook of Washington, D. C.
Correction
In last week’s article on Virginia Dodson’s rezoning application, the Rappahannock News incorrectly reported remarks made by Charles Dodson. Dodson warned that should his wife's request be turned down, he would fight the denial through legal channels if it took $100,000. He did not say that he had a $100,000 investment in the proposed commercial garage for which the commercial rezoning is being sought. The News regrets the error.
