Picnic

At 4:30 p.m. the meeting will start at Raymond Johnson’s home where there will be a demonstration on capturing a wild honeybee colony from a hollow tree. The group will move to the top of Red Oak Mountain at 5:30 for a pot luck supper. There will be sessions on summer hive management, making mead, and the honey bee postage stamp.
All members, prospective members, and guests are invited to attend. Bring a covered dish to share and your own drinks and chairs. Plates, cups, and eating utensils will be provided.
