Contract Awarded

On the basis of low bids received in April, the Virginia Department of Highways and Transportation has awarded a contract for resurfacing 199 miles of roadway at various locations in the Culpeper District to Bituminous Products Corporation of Washington, D.C.

The $1,504,624 contract is one of 12 totaling $6 million for highway construction, repair and maintenance improvement projects approved in April.
