Through the efforts of Rappahannock Lions’ Club President, Bob Ingle, Mountain Magic Theater will offer as a free community service screenings of the short patriotic film “Yorktown” at three different times on July 4, followed at 4 p.m. by a special family matinee, Walt Disney’s ‘‘Song of the South”, the film version of the ever-popular Uncle Remus tales.
According to theater manager, Freeman Allan Mountain Magic will postpone Series 11 of its Classic Film Clubs until September 15. ‘‘Because of the wide variety of summertime activities here in the Blue Ridge, and because many members will be away on vacation, it seemed more useful to wait until fall to continue with our popular Tuesday night classics,” explained Allan. “The club will renew its membership
