Jimmy Cannon of Castleton was hospitalized over night Sunday after being knocked unconscious by a charge of lightning. Cannon was working in the barn with some cattle, helped by his father, Ray Cannon, when the bolt of lighting struck nearby. They were just finishing their task and preparing to leave the barn when the mishap occurred.
According to Jimmy, he was apparently completely unconscious for about ten minutes while his father went for help. After he regained consciouness, he said he was immobile for about another
