Following an executive session that lasted from 8:45 to 10:45, the board voted unanimously to employ four new elementary teachers, two high school teachers and a bus driver. Judith Sudduth was hired as bookkeeper to replace Frances Carney who announced her resignation last October, effective June 30.
In addition, the board voted to place a student on bus probation for one year with seat assignment at the discretion of the bus driver.
