Busy After School
Her favorite part of school in Rappahannock came after the dismissal bell rang at 3:10. “You can do so many things,’’ she said, ticking off a list of extra-curricular activities. And Kirsten took advantage of them all.
She played guard on the girls’ basketball team, ran the mile and occasionally the 880 in track, belonged to the photography club and the varsity club, was a member of the annual staff, joined Girl Scouts and helped with lighting for the school play, “Oklahoma!”
