Windrush is an 850-acre wildlife preserve owned by Ambassador and Mrs. George McGhee in Rappahannock County and managed by the Piedmont Environmental Council. There are many miles of trails through the area which has a two and a half mile frontage on the Jordan river.

Trail maps, bird and wildflower guides to the area are available for authorized groups and permission to use may be obtained by calling the PEC office at (703) 3472334.

Bridge Party

Mrs. E. A. McNear was hostess to the Sperrywille Bridge Club at her home Friday evening.
