Fourteen Scouts under the leadership of Don Kutch of Hamilton and Buddy Hughes of Warrenton conducted a one-week wilderness camp at the Windrush Wildlife Sanctuary near Flint Hill where they learned vital facts about forestry, the conservation of soil and water and fish and wildlife.
Instructors were Robert Domin, retired Hill School science teacher and an expert in environmemtal science; Hank Woolman, manager of the Outdoorsman in Middleburg and a recognized expert in fishing and stream conservation; Lue Walters, the director of the Soil and Water Conservation Service for the Culpeper District; and Candace Wyman, Fauquier County forester. A reunion of the families of Jenkins, Woodard and Sisks is scheduled for Sunday, June 28 at the Rappahannock Recreation Center at Washington.
