While the larger part of the auction collection was contributed by Lion families, friends and neighbors provided valuable gifts that added substantially to the sale.
Also the merchants of Washington, Flint Hill Amissville, Sperryville and Woodville were most generous in donating goods and services that produced significant income to the auction.
This combined generosity and support in providing auction items, plus the attendance and buying, insured our success. For this community support we give all who participated a roaring Lions “Thanks”.
