Revenue Drops
Rappahannock will receive S712 as its share of $651,492 in third quarter profits generated by the Virginia Department of Alcholic Beverage Control.
The total is a SI,695 000 reduction in the amount divided among Virginia’s counties for the same period a year ago, due primarily to an increase of more than $2,000,000 in funds trails* ferred dirtctly from ABC' profits to the Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation. The funds will go towards the care, treatment, study and rehabilitation of alcoholics.
The town of Washington will get S30.10 as its share of third quarter ABC profits.
In addition, Rappahannock will also receive $836 in wine liter tax revenue for the third quarter.
