Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. Brown Miller and C. J. Miller of Washington had dinner Sunday at the Culpeper Holiday Inn. Last Tuesday Mrs. Quaintance. Mrs. Charles H. Estes and Mrs. Jack Bruce had luncheon at The Depot in Warrenton.
Mr. and Mrs. Gene Jones and son of Richmond were Sunday guests of Mrs. A. W. Sisk.
Mrs. Robert W. Brown, Mrs. Lee Swindler and Mrs. B. M. Varner visited Mrs. Nancy Fritts in Front Royal Sunday afternoon.
Sunday guests of Mrs. Early Sisk and Mrs. Mary Jenkins were Stuart, Nancy and Donna Beach and Mrs. Sadie Painter of Culpeper, Mr. and Mrs. John Heflin of Manassas, Mrs. Ruby Wharton of Brandy and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sisk of Orange.
Mrs. Dorothy Napfel and Charles Haupt of Baltimore, Md. spent last weekend with Mrs. Lester Dodson. Mr. and Mrs. John Black returned to Baltimore Monday after spending a month with Mrs. Dodson.
Mr. and Mrs. George Owens of Baltimore, Md. were weekend guests of Mrs. Delia Leake.
Julian Brown left from Dulles Airport Sunday for Atlanta, Ga. where he is on business with the Virginia Highway Department.
Mrs. Virginia Lewis spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. Fielding Lewis in Front Royal. -
Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne were overnight guests Thursday of Mrs. Josephine Lyne Dennis in Richmond. Mrs. C. R. Powell of Kilmarnock was a weekend visitor of the Lynes.
Mrs. T. M. Johnston was a Sunday overnight guest of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Willoughby in Unionville.
Mrs. Frances Thornton was a weekend guest of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thompson in Fork Union.
Word has been received of the death of Warren "Pete” Jenkins in Sandston, a former resident of Sperryville.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard L. Jenkins celebrated their 29th anniversary on March 12, 1982. They were married March 12, 1953 in Flint Hill by the Rev. Gilbert M. Proffit and have six children and two grandchildren. Sunday visitors of the Jenkins were Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Jenkins, Donna and Allen and Mr. and Mrs. Vernie Sang and Bobby of Luray.
