a) I have hunted foxes with hounds for 15 years and I have the same respect for the fox and the hound that you do.
b) 1 run a habitat management program on my acreage - for all birds and animals. I allow limited trapping of foxes in December and January, never in February when they have young. The same thing applies to raccoon and beaver. The object is balance; coons and foxes decimate turkey nests and young birds, as well as duck nests.
