Rappahannock new* Photo/S. Latham AREA FIRE AND RESCUE PERSONNEL are being offered the Firefighter I level program which is a national certification program, and is a part of Standard 1001 of the National Fire Protection Association designed to promote professionalism in the fire service nationwide. This group is completing first half of the course which includes organization and operations, ropes and knots, breathing apparatus, ground ladders, rescue, ventilation and forcible entry. Participants still have another 30 hours of training. Personnel in the class are from Amissville, Brandy, Culpeper, Flint Hill and Lois VFD.
