1 cup buttermilk 2 eggs 3 to 4 tablespoons melted butter or bacon drippings Stir the liquid into the dry ingredients with a few swift strokes. Add: Vi cup salt pork cracklings
Pour the batter into a preheated greased pan and bake the bread for 25 to 30 minutes.
