On Saturday, March 27, Radio Station WQRA of Warrenton will conduct a radio-a-thon to benefit FORE Workshop.
FORE, located in Remington, is a sheltered workshop providing employment, training, and job placement for handicapped residents of Fauquier, Culpeper, Orange, Madison, and Rappahannock Counties.
WQRA. at 94.3 FM. is conducting the radio-a-thon as a community service to help bring attention to the plight of FORE and to help raise funds to keep the workshop open. The workshop has been severely affected by reductions in government funding. Now, through means such as the radio-a-thon, it is seeking the support of our community.
