The 1982 Virginia Beef Cook-Off. sponsored by the Virginia CowBelles, will be held May 22 at James Madison University in Harrisonburg.

Contest entry forms which must accompany all recipes ares are available by writing the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. P.O. Box 1163, Richmond, Va. 23209. Entries must be returned to VDACS postmarked no later than April 15.

All recipes must contain two to five pounds of chuck, round, rump, fresh brisket, plate, shank or ground beef, in any form. The meat must be exclusively beef. The recipe must be specific, with no use of brand names, and include the number of serving and approximate preparation time. Total cooking time is not to exceed
