“Daughters Of Time" To Be Shown

“Daughters Of Time,” will be shown at the Rappahannock County Library on Monday, July 16 at 7 p.m. The movie deals with midwives and childbirth and will be followed by & discussion. Children and adults are welcome. For more information contact Christine Sims at 675-3128.

Lord Fairfax Orientation Sessions

Lord Fairfax Community College has scheduled three orientation sessions for incoming fall quarter students to acquaint them with the programs and services offered at Lord Fairfax. Session 1 is scheduled for July 25 A 26; Session 2 is scheduled for August 1A 2; and Session 3 is scheduled for August 7 A 8. The first day’s session is from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p m. and the second day’s session is from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Orientation students also have a special early registration day to insure proper selection of classes. Summer Soccer Camp Set

Boys and girls, ages 9 to 15, have the opportunity to learn socct - techniques from professional players this summer on the campus of Shenandoah College and Conservatory. Registration is now being held for the Residential Soccer Camp which begins on Sunday, August 5 through Friday, August 10.

The program is geared not only for the advanced player but for those of all ages and ability levels. The 8:1 player-coach ratio allows for special training by position as well as the teaching of fundamental principles of play for the modern game.

Fees are $165.00 per residential camper and $135.00 for commuter camper (lunch and dinner served). A $50 minimum deposit must accompany the application to reserve your space. Make checks payable to: Shenandoah Soccer Camp. The balance of tuition must be paid by July 23.
