with salt and baking powder. Cream butter, add sugar gradually. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Mix well. Fruit Mixture: Place drained fruit in greased 9x9x2-inch baking dish. Cover with batter. Pour boiling water very slowly over entire mixture. Bake at 360° for about 1 hour, until topping is lightly browned.
