Massies Have Son
Mr. and Mrs. James Fletcher Massie, Jr. proudly announce the birth of their son, David Hamilton, on June 27th at 8:45 p.m. at Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville. David weighed seven pounds and 14% ounces and was 21 inches long.
The grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. James F. Massie of Amissville and Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Irey Furmage of Falls Church.
Bridge Club
Mrs. Walter J. Curtis entertained the Flint Hill Bridge Club and additional guests at her home on Monday, June 25.

Volunteers Needed
The Disaster Committee of the Fauquier-Rappahannock Chapter of The American Red Cross is presently recruiting volunteers to serve on local Disaster Action Teams. These teams provide aid to victims of floods, tornadoes, forest fires, multi-casualty transportation accidents, and other natural and man-made disasters.
