Mr. and Mrs. Larry Welch spent the weekend at their cabin on the Shenandoah River.

The Woman’s Society of Christian Service of the United Methodist Church will meet on Monday, July 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Janet Eastham.

Herbert Foster has returned to his home after being a patient at Warren Memorial Hospital.

Miss Sallie Lillard spent July 4 with Mrs. Geneva Cubbage at Stanley and they attended a family picnic on the Skyline Drive. Miss Lillard visited Mr. and Mrs. Robert Henry Lillard at Front Royal on Sunday. Also visiting were Mrs. Mary Frances Lillard and Dougie Lillard.

Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Butler, Daniel and Todd of Front Royal were Saturday guests of Mrs. Butler’s mother, mrs. Wade Pullen.

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Welch entertained at a family picnic at their cabin on the Shenandoah River on July 4.

Mrs. Faye Lenox and Mrs. Joy Hoag of Annapolis, Md. were Friday overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Presgraves. Mrs. Presgraves with Mrs. Lenox and Mrs. Hoag had dinner in Front Royal on Friday evening. On Saturday Mr. Presgraves returned to Annapolis with them and was accompanied home by Denny Nutter.

Miss Joyce Walker of Arlington spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Moe Walker.
