The SperryviUe Community 4-H Club met on Monday, November 19 at the SperryviUe fire haU under the direction of leader, Barbara C. Burke.
The club elected officers for 198485 as follows: Elizabeth Oliver, president; Shane Thompson, vice-president; Christie Estep, secretary; Jennifer Leake, treasurer, Heather Aylor, reporter and Heather Estep wiU be song leader.
Shane Thompson will also serve as corresponding director and Christie Estep will be in charge of the refreshment committee for the upcoming year.
April Heddleston of WoodviUe was the project leader for Food and Nutrition which many of the children participated in and Lucy OUver was in charge of the sewing project. Other projects selected for the December meeting were Home Envimoment, Woodworking and the continuation of the present projects. There wiU also be a craft project available for the younger children.
Any child between the ages of 9 and 19 are invited to attend the next 4H meeting which wiU be held at the fire haU on Monday, December 17 at 7 p.m. If anyone is interested in joining the club they should contact the leader at 987-8058 so projects can be discussed and project leaders contacted.
