Story Hour at the Rappahannock County Library on December 5 will enter its fourth week of a six-week program, and the series promises more fiin and entertainment for youngsters before its December 19 finale.

Story Hour is a quarterly series for preschool-age children, which is sponsored by the library. The fall series now taking place is conducted on Wednesday mornings from 10 to 11.

Generally, volunteers who conduct story hour read a story during the first half hour, then work with the children to create crafts during the second half hour. A recent example: Children listened to a Thanksgiving story before creating their own decorative turkeys
