for running on the girls’ junior varsity team this year were Kathy Dodson and Anna Hudson. Leslie Nichols received a certificate for running on the girls’ varsity team, and Denice Eidson and Karen Ludwick received varsity letters and cross country pins.
David Fisher, Tom Taylor and Shane Thompsen received certificates for running on the boys’ varsity team. Receiving letters this year were: Tony Clarke, Mike Dunn, Neil Burke, Marley Hay and Todd Williams. Pat Coffey and John Dodson received bars. Spieker recognized the top seven runners for the year who were: John Dodson, Marley Hay, David Fishbein, Jonathan Watson, seniors Bobby Ludwick, Ricky Shaw and Ronnie Atkins. Atkins was the team’s number one runner for' the year. Spieker also recognized the team managers for the year who were Tammy Shaw, Marc Streagle and Elaine McCabe.
Scott Curie, assistant coach of the soccer team, presented the soccer awards. Those who had lettered received pins, and they were: Lucky McCoy, James Dennis, Will Oliver, Mike Deluise, Dexter Freeman, Brian Kritz and James Racer.
