f,- • ? Board is working on that Reeve considers important’ is the development of a comprehensive curriculum for the schools. Reeve said that it is a hard job to develop a curriculum that flows from kindergarten through grade 12. “We also have to make the new curriculum fit into the curriculum that we already have, and the development of curriculum is not as easily visible as expanded labs or facilities but is very important.”

Reeve is proud of Rappahannock schools, and their students and teachers. “Our schools are not fancy, but if you look at a lot of systems our size you’ll see that we have a lot to offer,” Reeve said. “I think that parents and students need to continue to think positively about the schools, but that doesn’t mean that they shouldn’t also bring up their concerns and things that they would Bke to see changed.”

Reeve said that Rappahannock’s teachers are the'system’s major asset. “I am proud of our teachers as I look at how much they give in the way of individual attention to students, and their high level of dedication,” said Reeve.

“I feel warmly about the Board as a group,” said Reeve. “We work well with each other and the administration, and we don’t always agree but we can reach a majority opinion on mattora ”
