Wakefield’s junior varsity and Middle School (grades 6-9) soccer teams completed their fall schedule with important wins over strong rivals to compile balanced win/loss records of 5-5-0 and 2-2-1 respectively...
Both teams started slowly as stronger players filled in position vacancies and adapted to a stronger schedule of opponents. The junior varsity team had close, tough losses to Tandem, Randolph Macon, and Linton Hall and bounced back with outstanding wins against St. Anne’s Bellfield, Woodberry Forest, Tandem and Lin-BBT HaH.
