Festive Fresh Orange Ambrosia
1 container (4 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed 2 tablespoons curacao or other orangeflavored liqueur Grated peel of 1/2 Sunkist navel orange Generous dash ground cinnamon or nutmeg 6 Sunkist navel oranges, peeled, cut in i cartwheel slices i Shredded coconut or sliced almonds | To make sauce, in bowl combine whipped tapping, curacao, orange peel and cinnamon; chill. Using one orange ^ per serving, arrange orange cartwheel I slices, overlapping, on 6 individual des) sert plates. Top each with about 2 tai blespoons of sauce. Sprinkle with I coconut or almonds. Makes 6 servings (about 1 cup sauce).
Creamy Orange Fudge
2 cups sugar 1 can (5-l/3ounces) evaporated milk 10 large marshmallows (or 100 miniature)
1 package (6 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate pieces 1 cup chopped walnuts 1/2 cup butter or margarine, cut in small pieces 2 tablespoons fresh grated orange peel
In saucepan, combine sugar, evaporated milk and marshmallows. Bring to boil over medium heat. Boil 6 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add remaining ingredients. Beat well until fudge thickens, about 5 minutes. Pour into buttered 8-inch square baking pan. Chill until firm. Cut into squares. Makes about 2 pounds or 25 pieces.
