Robert Irving Graves pled not guilty to reekleee driving Tuesday in General District Court in a case involving an accident. The single car accident occurred on November 20, and no one was injured.
State Trooper Hampton testified that the accident involved a delivery track operated by Graves on Route 622. Hie track ran off of the road and strode a tree, and Hampton testified that Graves told him that the wind had caught the truck which was loaded at the time of the accident.
Graves testified that he thought the trade was over loaded, but that he was told to make the delivery. Judge John Alexander told Graves that he should not have driven the truck if he believed it to be unsafe. Judge Alexander found Graves not guilty of reckless driving, but guilty of improper driving. Graves was fined $25 plus $20 costs.
